We have fast and free WiFi in all of our cottages. Whether you want to find the best restaurants nearby, watch catch-up TV (which is available in all cottages), check the weather forecast or keep in touch with your friends on , now you can.

Yes you can – and we would strongly suggest that you do. Here’s why…

We have a fantastic little shop within walking distance here in Penmachno, a Londis, and it sells all the essentials (including an excellent wine and beer selection!) so we hope that you will visit during your holiday.

If you are planning a weekly shop then ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose deliver locally. Book your slot as far in advance as possible, use the postcode LL24 0PS and pick ‘Benar’ rather than ‘Benar Cottages’ (some supermarkets will not deliver to a business address). Please let us know that you have arranged a delivery so that we can direct the driver if necessary. The fridge / freezer is emptied and switched off for defrosting and cleaning prior to your arrival so, for deliveries on arrival day, please arrange your delivery slot after 4pm.

In Betws-y-Coed, the Spar is a great convenience store with a bakery – everything you need for the perfect picnic and an amazing cake selection!

For a medium sized supermarket, visit the Co-op in  Llanrwst

Further afield, you’ll find a large Tesco at Llandudno Junction, a Tesco Extra in Bangor and a huge ASDA in Llandudno.

Between Easter and the end of October, the cottages have a preferred changeover day:

but if you would prefer to arrive on a different day or would rather not book for 7-nights just let us know and we’ll see what we can do for you (we may be able to offer you a discount!). Off-season, between November and Easter, we offer short breaks with arrival any day.

The arrival time is usually 3pm or 3.30pm depending on the cottage.

We do not accept pets at our cottages.

Take a look at this page for more information about our pet policy and for pet friendly accommodation nearby.

Please make sure that your booking confirmation shows the correct number of guests and let us know immediately if not. All overnight guests must be booked in advance. Every cottage has a maximum capacity and we do not allow guests to sleep on sofas or camp beds.

Would you like to invite day-visitors to your cottage? Please ask for permission at least 48 hours prior to their arrival because we need to know in advance. For the safety and security of all our guests, we need to be able to identify everybody at Benar.

We will send you comprehensive directions shortly before the start of your holiday. Benar is very easy to find but we will also send you a site plan directing you right to the door of your cottage.

We make key collection as simple as possible for our guests. In the week leading up to your holiday, we will contact you to arrange this.

We try to make things easy for you by providing as much as we can but please ask if there is something specific that you need.
